PT Dahana, along with PT Solusi Bangun Andalas, PT MAK, and PT Supra, again provided aid to casualties of the Sumatran floods and landslides. This time, the aid, which was clean water and basic food items, was sent from Medan to Rantau Pauh District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Dahana’s Director of Operations, Abdul Haris Atbaro, stated that Aceh Tamiang Regency was one of the areas severely affected by the disaster that struck Sumatra, with homes being swept away and public facilities paralyzed. Therefore, Dahana and other partners went to Aceh Tamiang to distribute the aid needed by the community.
“On behalf of with PT SBA, PT MAK, and PT Supra, we are deeply saddened by the disaster that befell our brothers and sisters in Sumatra, especially in Aceh Tamiang. We offer our deepest condolences and hope that more aid will arrive in Aceh Tamiang, and that we will work together to support the community in its recovery,” said Mr Atbaro.
As is known, devastating floods and landslides struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra from late November to early December 2025, causing significant damage, with more than 900 fatalities and hundreds missing. The flood also damaged resident’s houses, public facilities, and brdiges.
One of the worst-hit areas was Aceh Tamiang. At least 57 people died, dozens were missing, and hundreds of thousands of Aceh Tamiang residents were displaced as many homes were destroyed by the floods.

Therefore, the Dahana team, PT SBA, PT MAK, and PT Supra distributed aid in the form of clean drinking water, rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, and biscuits. Edi Kusnadi, Dahana Jsp SBA’s operation manager, also prayed for a speedy recovery for the people of Aceh Tamiang and their ability to return to their normal activities.
“Hopefully, this assistance can ease the burden of suffering for those affected. We pray that the people of Aceh Tamiang will be given strength and fortitude to get through these difficult times. Rest assured, you are not alone; we and the entire Indonesian community will continue to work together to help Aceh Tamiang recover,” concluded Mr Kusnadi.
